Sam Hill

Sam is the General Manager of our Northern Queensland operations, from Bundaberg in the South, right up to the northern tip of Queensland. He oversees our Rockhampton base laboratory as well as multiple annex sites across the region.

He is a highly experienced leader and manager, having worked throughout Queensland in the geotechnical and civil construction materials testing industry for over 10 years.  During this time Sam has developed skills & gained Approved Signatory for a wide range of laboratory techniques and standards across AS and QMR methods.

Key management experience has been obtained on both small and large scale projects offering diversity across materials, natural conditions and varying work methodologies.  Sam has an acute understanding of commercial requirements for Contractors and Principals alike, this commercial acumen allows him to work with contractors in achieving the best project outcomes.

Not only is Sam a skilled leader within Coffey Testing, he is also well known in the Central Queensland community for his volunteering efforts. He is a Dad’s Group leader, Man with a Pram Facilitator, mental health advocate, a perinatal peer educator, and has led multiple community fundraising events.
