Senior Technicians

To play your part as a Senior Technician, you will be producing high quality testing across the full range of disciplines, and will act as a mentor, providing assistance to the Laboratory Manager, to provide technical direction to the greater team. 

Responsibilities and duties of a Senior Technician at Coffey Testing include but are not limited to:

• Delivering client value: leading a safety culture, taking prompt action when unsafe acts of conditions are reported or notes, and maintaining or exceeding expected competency benchmark levels, including safety, accuracy and productivity,
• Building the business: Developing and maintaining positive relationships with client key decision makers and providing technical advice to internal and external clients on procedural aspects of testing and investigation methodologies – providing specialist interpretation of results,
• Focusing on commercial results: Oversee routine time and productivity reporting functions, i.e, shift reports, timesheets and job records, lead quality management procedural and system administration compliance within the laboratory and achieving individual targets including utilisation and contribute to achievement of laboratory financial goals and budgets.
