Our team in the Northern Territory have been engaged by the DIPL (Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics) to assist with the geotechnical testing in a remote community on Groote Eylandt.
The aim of this project is to expand the Angurugu Territory Families, Housing and Communities Office, including the development of new demountables, car parking, accessibility provisions, shaded playground, privacy fencing and upgrade of services.
The Coffey Testing team have been conducting testing within several key areas of the project. Our team charters flights from Gove and Darwin, conducting testing, retrieving samples, and returning to their respective laboratories on the same day.
This is an ongoing project with DIPL that is focusing on economic growth and development within remote communities in the Northern Territory, worth just over $1 million.
