The Southern Water Supply Storage Project involves the construction of a 3,000 megalitre off-river storage dam next to the Tuross River, in Bodalla State Forest.
The objective of this project is to assist in transferring water from the Tuross River into the storage dam during times of high flows.
The new water storage unit will supplement the existing water supply during periods of drought and high demand and will significantly improve the security of water supply in the Eurobodalla Shire and reduce the need for restrictions on water usage in the future.
Our Coffey Testing – ACT Team have been contracted to assist with their expertise on the following testing methods for the duration of the project:
This project is worth approximately $130 million and commenced construction in 2016. Coffey Testing had started on the project in February 2023, with ongoing works until February 2025. We currently have an Annex Laboratory on site at Eurobodalla, to assist with providing results to Project Managers with ease.
