The Coffey Testing Team in Canberra had recently assisted Seymour Whyte with the Barton Highway Upgrade Package.

The Barton Highway is an important part of the NSW and ACT transport network, closing the gap between communities and their access to essential services, employment, healthcare, educational opportunities and supporting freight movement. This project was worth $200 million.

Coffey Testing will be providing all soil testing, material assessment and conformance, and topsoil stripping conformance.
This will provide all year round access to Litchfield National Park via the Cox Peninsula Road.
The upgrade caters for the increasing traffic volumes associated with growth in the Central Coast, Hunter and North Coast regions.
A 12-kilometre two-way track connecting Westmead to Carlingford via the Parramatta CBD.
