Coffey Testing has recently been awarded the Geotechnical Testing contract for the Moggill Road Corridor Upgrade Project – Stage 1 (Indooroopilly Roundabout Upgrade). The $183 million project, funded by the Australian Government and Brisbane City Council, is located approximately 7km south-west of Brisbane City and includes the construction of an overpass from Coonan Street over Moggill Road to improve overall intersection operation and safety for all road users, as well as catering for existing and future traffic demands.

Moggill Road and Coonan Street are two major arterial roads that currently intersect via a semi-controlled roundabout at Indooroopilly. The roads link Brisbane’s outer west and south-western suburbs and the Brisbane Central Business District (CBD). Construction is currently underway and is scheduled to be completed by early 2024.

Our team are providing all earthworks, pavement, and concrete testing for the project.
