Yanchep Rail Extension and Thornlie-Cockburn Link

Coffey Testing have recently been awarded the METRONET Geotechnical Testing Contract by NEWest Alliance for both the Yanchep Rail Extension and Thornlie-Cockburn Link sections of the Perth METRONET Program.

The Thornlie-Cockburn Link will be Perth’s first east-west cross line connection, and the Yanchep Rail Extension will deliver the last proposed section of the Joondalup Line from Butler, 14.5km north to Yanchep.

Coffey Testing will be providing field and laboratory testing of bulk earthworks, and Deep Soil Mix (DSM) trials.

The Coffey Testing – Adelaide team has been contracted for a period of 4-months, to assist with the construction of the a2 wall.
