Coffey Testing supplied a variety of geotechnical and materials testing services as well as associated quality assurance activities for multiple contractors on the Gorgon Gas Project – Barrow Island.
Coffey Testing provided concrete testing and aggregate testing alongside Boral for Bechtel which included the testing of over 478,000 m3 of concrete and 940,000 ton of concrete aggregate.
The Alliance was awarded the Roads and Maritime Services 2012 ‘Highly Commended Award’ under the category of ‘Quality Innovation’ for the work completed on materials management, as well as the Sustainability Leadership Award from the United Nations Association of Australia.
