Coffey Testing is conducting geotechnical testing, in order to prepare the ground prior to any construction occurring.

Client: Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics (DIPL)
Duration: Ongoing
Location: Galiwinku, Elcho Island

Coffey Testing have been appointed by the Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics (DIPL) to assist with the construction of a new, 30-lot residential subdivision in Galiwinku, Elcho Island.

Our team is responsible for organising charter flights to and from the project, where they conduct geotechnical testing, returning from site within the same day. This testing is important for the preparation of the ground prior to any construction of structures commencing.

Due to its large scope, this project is worth nearly $9 million, and due to be ongoing. We are excited to see this take shape over the next 12-24 months.
