Ian has extensive experience in board leadership and governance, combined with engagement in the construction sector at the highest levels within government and private sectors.

He has a thorough understanding of the industry’s key stakeholders and policy issues that confront the industry day-in and day-out.

From 2003 to 2018, Ian served as the Chief Executive Officer of Roads Australia, an integral part of the Australian roads industry.

His professional career includes over 15 years as a career diplomat and over 30 years as a Chief Executive in both the public and private sectors throughout NSW and VIC.
