Amelia Matheson

Fleet Manager

Amelia Matheson (fondly known to the team as ‘Mel’), is Coffey Testing’s National Fleet Manager.  

Mel has worked at Coffey Testing for 11.5 years. Starting out in an administration role, Mel worked her way up the rankings to become the Fleet Manager, an important piece of the Functions Team puzzle.  

She states, “Coffey Testing is a place of opportunity. It carries great company culture, and it is easy to build relationships with co-workers. Our leadership team is goal-oriented, and they want their employees to succeed in their careers.” 

Mel thoroughly enjoys her job as Fleet Manager, “It has challenged me to work on our key focuses on the business – including operational cost effectiveness of vehicles, vehicle maintenance, which is important when it comes to the safety of our employees and impacting the vehicle lifespan, as well as making a priority on reducing fuel consumption and costs associated with that. 

Managing fleet requires a great attention to detail, and good communication skills, which has helped me grow as a person.”
